A Prayer to the Thunder Gods

Let your rains wash over me

spun with ribbons of amber

and waves of blue

my rhythm calls to you

Ancient sons, come dance with me

and I shall sing your praises

Come dance with the ladies who tend to your ancient mother

veiled with cloth spun from your silk

guarding the vision of your antiquity

and let loose incantations for my salvation.
