Divided We Fall

Lost, tattered and worn

you and I share the same experience

And now you have

cast me adrift

Death comes to us all

my dear brethren

It remains nobody’s fault

But the blame should fall upon you

who cast false judgment

and you

who strike tyranny in the hearts

of good men

and then cast stones against him

for your own transgressions

Show me no bitterness

for the taste of your own deeds

remains tainted

by the sour sight of your soul.
