Weary on the Seas

Out on a wave tattered and worn
my bones grow cold
unable to have what keeps me warm
surviving not by love, but by hope
misshapen in a sea of the dead
and waiting amongst them to meet the eternal rower
would you, for all the silver I have,
row me back to Sumer?
